CULTURAL TOURS

Kate C2024-04-26Wonderful Solo Safari I had a wonderful time with Hadzabe Safaris! Most important for me was feeling safe as a solo female traveler and Hadzabe Safaris did a great job. I also got pretty lucky as I had signed up for a 3-day group tour plus 1 day at the waterfalls/coffee experience (highly recommend!) but, because it was low season, I ended up with a few days of a private tour. Since I've experienced both I can highly recommend the private tour. I learned more after 15 minutes with Joshua, my private guide, then the entire day on the group tour. For group tours they (reasonably so) have to accommodate for so many people whereas for private tours you are able to ask all your questions, make quick side stops, and decide what you'd like to see. Joshua is kind, professional, funny, and wildly knowledgeable about pretty much everything. He loves his job and really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and ensure you have a great time. Thank you to him and the Hadzabe Safaris team!
Daniel B2024-03-03Safari 3 days incl. tarangire, ngorongoro and lake manyara; two nights in karatu. Our tour with Hadzabe started in Arusha. Our guide for the 3 days- Joshua - picked us up in the hotel on time. After filling up the jeep at some kind of safari hub, our trip started. The jeep, the accommodation and especially our guide were excellent. He really knows where to go, how to position the car and has an impressive knowledge about the animals. He also took care of our lunch packages, water etc. and always showed up with a cleaned car in the morning. Furthermore, he obviously loves his jobs, as he was sometimes taking pictures and videos of the animals, as well. We also met the owner of Hadzabe after our return to Arusha. Prices are reasonable, but negotiation is recommended. We would definitely book again at Hadzabe, if we came back to Tansania for Safari.
Daniel L2024-02-26Unforgetable experience It was an unforgettable experience, visiting the Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We extended a day to go to the Materuni waterfalls. Everything incredible. We went with our own cook, who cooked delicious. The manager Herman, always with a quick and friendly response. And the best, Mbonea, our guide in Spanish. Always friendly, smiling and making sure everything was fine. I recommend it without a doubt.
